Away days: Seb shines in two events
Sometimes you are tempted to leave the comfort of your tailor-made and well set up rig at home. This happens whenever there’s a competition in town and on March, 30 we were lucky to have not one, but two gatherings in Bucharest.
The day started with Seb defending the crown at PlayDrive, where he won the inaugural contest last month. This time, he made quick work of his rivals in the semifinal with the famed BMW M3 E30 Gr. A, but suffered the cruel fate of a slowdown in the decider. Despite having the best pace, he had to settle for second, as the sprint race gave him no time to compensate for the penalty.
Later that day, Logitech G returned with a new iteration of the Race Days that gave us plenty of excitement (and prizes) a few months ago. This time, we moved on through history from the 70s to the 80s, in an attempt to tame the iconic McLaren MP4/4. Victor and Seb took turns, aiming for the high bar set by David Ștefan, a talented youngster that we had recently invited to test our Dacia Logan Cup after RES1. Mihai, Romania’s representative in DTM eSports 2025, was also a tough nut to crack. Still, Seb had the resources to prevail.
